Are your pictures safe?

A fellow blogger found out that pictures she uses on her blog were being used on other sites without her consent so she decided to write a blog post about it & explain how we can all make our blogs OUR property.

Why do I never realise!???

A week of headaches, a stupid tickley cough these are the symptoms but I NEVER realise until I get the pain in my ear & throat, sometimes it's a bad taste in my mouth but usually the ear & throat. Yep it's the start of another bout of tonsillitis. Oh the joy's but thankfully to a nice doctor 10+ yrs ago who wouldn't take my tonsils out I've always got a supply of penicillin with me so I can start them immediately without having to wait for an appointment, which with our doctors is usually about 2 weeks!!

I also have a supply of them as I'm susceptible to insect bites & have a really bad reaction to them but that's another blog post!!

Fingers crossed I have caught this early enough to not cause me too many major problems (fingers crossed!) 

Silent Sunday 29/01/2011

Honestly it self combusted!!

Crunchie is a demon when it comes to soft toys & they don't last very long. 

She had played with her ball for a few hours the other day & then left it, much to our amazement!

So today I decided to let her play with it again & she had fun chasing around the lounge with it, but stupidly I forgot to close the lounge door & after about 10mins of playing she shot off upstairs.

I left her for 5 mins & this was the sight that greeted me!!!

Birthday boys meal!

Today is/was Ian's birthday so I took him out for a meal to his favourite steakhouse Miller & Carter.

We normally got to a local branch but they have opened a new restaurant a few miles away & we decided to give it a go.

I have to say we were NOT disappointed at all. We went earlish & although the car park seemed quite busy it was quiet inside. 

It's only been open for about 6 weeks & they've done the refurb really nicely, you certainly know your in a Miller & Carter. It's nice & clean & stylish.

We ordered a large glass of wine each & looked through the menu. we'd got a voucher for a free starter or desert ............. if you "like" their facebook page you can get a voucher yourself. (dates limit's apply) ............ we opted for the sharing platter which looked like this ............
